Student loans and allowances

go online at
www.studylink.govt.nzor call 0800 88 99 00.
Student loans
If you wish to pay your Summer School tuition fees with a student loan,
you should apply to StudyLink at least two months before study
commences, to ensure your fees are paid on time.
To be eligible for a student loan to pay the Summer School tuition fees,
you must either be enrolled full-time (at least 25 points) or enrolled in
study lasting for at least 32 weeks (ie, Summer School plus Semester One
and Semester Two with a minimum of 30 points).
We recommend that you enrol in your Summer School, Semester One
and Semester Two courses at the same time. This should ensure you have
sufficient points to be eligible, and minimise any delays with the approval
of your student loan.
Student allowances
To find out if you are eligible for a student allowance, visit
www.studylink.govt.nzor call 0800 88 99 00. You should apply as early
